TRUE PALS ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES GUIDING OUR MISSION

Our mission objective shall be to foster great stewardship and improve the well-being and health of people, animals, and the environment, by various methodologies applicable and available to us and each of our partners, including direct programs and services as well as providing a platform to cultivate partnerships across non-profit, government, corporate, educational and the private sectors to create a force multiplier effect and achieve the greatest possible impact.  The primary guideline in accomplishing the core mission objective is to ensure that our activities (a) focus on being great stewards ourselves and on furthering the mission, (b) are in no way in conflict with or contradict the mission, nor aid others whose actions or involvements are contrary to the mission. While we agree that it is vitally important to generate funding through various lawful means to support charitable activities undertaken by us and the charities we support to allow us all to further the mission, the primary and most important goal and metric is the level of impact created by our actions with respect to the mission.  In addition, the following mission principles shall guide our actions:

–Foster respect, appreciation and great care for each other, all living things and precious resources;

–Appreciate and help others to see and appreciate the wonders and beauty all around us;

–Teach and instill kindness, compassion and the spirit of gratitude and giving, especially to the new young generations;

-We believe that everything is interconnected and we shall strive and inspire others to live in balance and harmony with each other and nature;

-Fight and eliminate abuse, torture, cruelty, mistreatment and neglect of people and animals;

– Promote ethical, humane and kind treatment of all living things; work tirelessly to improve the conditions, life quality, well-being and ethical treatment of all animals, including pets, zoo, wild, farm and working animals; help prevent and defend against human rights abuses, including child and sex trafficking, slavery and forced labor;

-Do not tolerate disregard for human and animal suffering, and never support in any way any activities that may cause any such suffering, including animal testing for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical or other purposes;

–Further wildlife and nature preservation and conservation, including by reducing and fighting waste of any kind and of any resources, natural or otherwise;

-Promote and support better health and well-being, including mental health, through healthy living, clean environment, natural foods and treatments, including but not limited to: cruelty-free, cleaner, organic and more natural food supplies free of chemicals, antibiotics and other harmful substances; disease prevention through wholesome healthy diet and exercise; reduction and eventual elimination of harmful chemicals and substances from our food, water and the environment; abuse and cruelty free sustainable and healthy farming, including promotion and adoption of more robust plant-based food consumption; mental health and suicide prevention programs including prevention and fighting of substance addiction and abuse;

–Advocacy, education and information is extremely important, and shall always be a critical part of all our endeavors, however rolling up our sleeves and doing the work, no matter how dirty, hard or thankless it may be, is equally if not more important, even and especially when we know we will not get any credit or recognition for it, the goal is to actually do the work, not just virtue signal; furthermore as great stewards we shall strive to accomplish, foster and further the mission objectives and lead by example while supporting others in these endeavors.
